Faster launches thermal management products for data center cooling
Helios Technologies Inc. (NYSE: HLIO) announced that its operating company Faster has entered the data center market with thermal management solutions including liquid cooling couplers. The company launched four product lines designed for high-density data centers and artificial intelligence infrastructure.
The new product portfolio includes the UQD (Universal Quick Disconnect), UQDB (Universal Quick Disconnect Blind), LQC (Large Quick Connector systems), and FFC (Flat Face Couplings). The UQD, UQDB, and LQC systems comply with Open Compute Project standards for liquid cooling in data centers.
The UQD series provides quick disconnect couplings for liquid cooling at the cold plate level. The UQDB series extends these capabilities to server blades for space-constrained configurations. The LQC series handles high-flow applications at the coolant distribution unit level, while the FFC series delivers spill-free performance to prevent fluid loss and contamination.
"This launch marks an important step in executing The CORE 2030 Strategy and driving growth for both Faster and Helios," said Matteo Arduini, President, Hydraulics, Fluid Conveyance Technology.
Faster has 75 years of experience in fluid handling and connection systems. The company has designed and manufactured over 500 million quick-release couplings and registered more than 145 patents. Faster operates from Italy with subsidiaries in the United States, Brazil, China and India.
The company will display its thermal management products at TECH SHOW in Frankfurt, Germany, from May 6-7, 2026.
