ibex partners with Sierra to deploy AI customer service agents

ibex (NASDAQ: IBEX) announced a strategic partnership with conversational AI platform Sierra to deliver AI-powered customer experience solutions. The partnership combines ibex's customer service expertise with Sierra's AI technology to deploy automated customer service systems for global brands.



The companies have already implemented their joint solution with Philippine Airlines, deploying AI voice agents alongside ibex's customer experience integration services. Mac Munsayac, Vice President for Customer Experience at Philippine Airlines, said the deployment is showing results with automation and natural interactions enhancing efficiency and customer experience.

Bob Dechant, CEO of ibex, said the partnership combines Sierra's conversational AI platform with ibex's customer experience expertise and technology integration experience. The solution aims to automate high-volume, repetitive customer service functions while directing complex issues to human agents.



ibex maps customer journeys to determine which interactions should be automated through AI agents versus handled by human representatives. The companies said they are working on multiple AI implementations across various industries.



ibex operates as a global outsourced business services provider with more than 36,000 customer experience employees. Sierra's conversational AI platform is used by companies including The GAP, Rocket Mortgage, SoFi, Sutter Health, and Wayfair.
