Philippine Airlines expands disrupted passenger services across North America
Philippine Airlines has expanded its partnership with TA Connections to provide disrupted passenger support services across seven North American airports, according to a company announcement.
TA Connections, a subsidiary of Corpay (NYSE: CPAY), will coordinate hotel and ground transportation for Philippine Airlines passengers experiencing flight disruptions at San Francisco International Airport, John F. Kennedy International Airport, Daniel K. Inouye International Airport, Los Angeles International Airport, Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, Vancouver International Airport, and Toronto Pearson International Airport.
The companies previously worked together on crew hotel sourcing services. The expanded agreement builds on that existing relationship to include passenger accommodation services during operational disruptions.
"Flight disruptions are a reality for any airline and, at times, cannot be avoided when prioritizing the safety of both passengers and crew," said Mac Munsayac, VP - Customer Experience at Philippine Airlines.
TA Connections will provide access to its hotel network and negotiated rates to help Philippine Airlines secure accommodations during irregular operations. The service includes vendor coordination and invoice reconciliation to reduce administrative tasks for the airline.
"Expanding our partnership with TA Connections allows us to enhance the way we support our passengers," said Captain Roland A. Narciso, SVP IOC Operations Group at Philippine Airlines.
The partnership covers key North American gateway cities where Philippine Airlines operates regular service. TA Connections specializes in crew logistics and passenger disruption management services for airlines globally.
