Domo names Ben Schein as chief AI and analytics officer
Domo Inc. (NASDAQ: DOMO) appointed Ben Schein as chief AI and analytics officer as the company expands its focus on AI-powered applications and agents.
Schein will lead Domo's internal AI and analytics transformation and contribute to the company's efforts to deliver AI-powered solutions to customers. The role includes embedding AI into business processes across sales, marketing, finance, and product development.
Schein joined Domo in 2018 and has held senior leadership roles across product and analytics. Prior to Domo, he spent nearly a decade at Target, where he became senior director of enterprise data, analytics and business intelligence. He led analytics initiatives across merchandising and digital operations, helping drive adoption from a few thousand users to enterprise-wide deployment.
"Most companies have an execution problem more than an AI problem," said Josh James, founder and CEO of Domo. "They've invested in models, but those models aren't connected to the business. We're focused on helping customers deploy AI in ways that actually run parts of their operations."
The company is also expanding its team of forward deployed engineers who work directly with customers to design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications and agents for specific business challenges. These teams help connect models to governed data and implement solutions within day-to-day operations.
At Domopalooza 2026, Domo introduced new capabilities including its Domo Model Context Protocol Server and AI agent framework, which connect external AI models to business data and enable them to take action across business workflows.
The information is based on a company press release statement.
