Schindler selects Navan for global travel management platform

May 5, 2026 5:51 AM

Schindler, the Switzerland-based elevator and escalator manufacturer, has selected Navan (NASDAQ: NAVN) to manage its global travel operations across North America and Europe.

The deployment will initially cover seven countries: Canada, the United States, France, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. Schindler plans to consolidate its travel management from what it described as a fragmented online booking system.

"Because we were managing travel across multiple fragmented systems, a high percentage of bookings occurred outside of our official channels," said Luca Mancuso, Global Category Manager at Schindler. "We will finally have real-time visibility into our global travel spend, and we expect to reduce costs simply by providing a central tool, with competitive prices, that our employees actually want to use."

According to the announcement, Schindler anticipates an 11% reduction in travel costs and a 95% adoption rate among employees using the new platform.

Founded in 1874, Schindler operates in more than 100 countries with over 67,000 employees. The company provides elevators, escalators, and moving walkways, serving more than 2 billion people daily according to the company.

Navan offers business travel and expense management services through an AI-powered platform. The Palo Alto-based company went public and trades on the NASDAQ under the ticker NAVN.

The information was disclosed in a press release statement from Navan.
