FTI Consulting hires Anand Raghuraman as senior managing director

FTI Consulting (NYSE: FCN) appointed Anand Raghuraman as Senior Managing Director within its Business Transformation practice in Amsterdam, the company announced.

Raghuraman brings more than 25 years of experience in consultancy and the retail and consumer products industry. He has led commercial strategies, operational improvement initiatives and enterprise-wide profit improvement programs for businesses and private equity firms across Europe, North and South America, Asia and Australia.

In his new role, Raghuraman will work with private equity firms and their portfolio companies to help retail and consumer-facing businesses improve operations and deliver transformations. He will also collaborate on pre-deal diligence and post-deal optimization work and serve as interim Chief Transformation Officer for client engagements.

Before joining FTI Consulting, Raghuraman served as a Senior Advisor to the firm's Business Transformation practice in Amsterdam. He previously held a partner position at Roland Berger, where he co-founded the firm's Americas Consumer Goods & Retail practice. His career includes senior positions at Riveron, EY, Boston Consulting Group and Kurt Salmon. He also served as Senior Vice President of Strategy at U.S. retailer Ross Stores and has advised several retail and consumer technology startups.
