Radware partners with Chief Telecom to launch DDoS protection service
Radware (NASDAQ: RDWR) announced a partnership with Chief Telecom to launch Godshield Pro, a DDoS protection service for enterprises in Taiwan.
The service combines Radware's AI-driven DDoS protection technology with Chief Telecom's local network infrastructure to provide in-network mitigation while reducing latency typically associated with cloud-based scrubbing services. The hybrid approach allows for local protection that can scale to Radware's global scrubbing capacity of up to 30 Tbps when needed.
Godshield Pro operates as a subscription-based service, eliminating the need for enterprises to deploy and manage on-premises hardware. The service performs traffic scrubbing directly within Chief Telecom's infrastructure while maintaining the ability to expand to cloud-based protection.
"Service providers are looking for ways to deliver high-performance security services without compromising network experience," said Alan Lee, general manager of Radware Taiwan and Hong Kong. "This deployment demonstrates how Radware's hybrid architecture enables localized protection with seamless cloud expansion."
Jerry Shao, chairman of Chief Telecom, stated that the service provides enterprises with a way to strengthen DDoS defenses while maintaining network performance quality.
The partnership addresses the growing complexity of DDoS attacks that can disrupt enterprise operations. Traditional mitigation approaches often route traffic outside local networks, creating latency and performance issues that the new service aims to minimize.
