Paymentus launches AI-powered bill payment products Billeo and BillWallet
Paymentus (NYSE: PAY) announced the launch of two patented products, Billeo™ and BillWallet®, designed to transform bills and invoices into interactive digital experiences. The company stated these products establish what it calls "AI-native Service Commerce."
BillWallet® functions as a digital wallet specifically for bill and service payments. The product creates a persistent relationship between customers and service providers by linking accounts, service relationships, and payment credentials. This enables one-touch payments across digital, voice, and in-person channels without requiring account numbers or passwords.
Billeo™ converts static bills, invoices, and statements into interactive documents. The product uses artificial intelligence to provide explanations of charges and enables consumers to resolve issues and make payments directly within the document interface.
Both products operate on Paymentus' AI360 framework, which the company describes as an AI-based integration and data intelligence system. The platform is designed to connect disparate data sources and enable real-time orchestration across systems and workflows.
Security is provided through Paymentus' SecureService™ framework, which the company states is PCI-compliant and engineered for end-to-end protection across service interactions and payment flows.
"Service commerce is not a one-time transaction; it's an ongoing relationship between customers and the providers they trust," said Dushyant Sharma, founder and CEO of Paymentus.
The products are available to Paymentus clients across service-based industries including utilities, insurance, telecommunications, government, education, healthcare, and property management. The announcement was based on a company press release.
