BARK appoints James Gagne to board of directors
BARK, Inc. (NYSE: BARK) announced the appointment of James Gagne to its board of directors, effective immediately.
Gagne brings over 30 years of experience in global supply chain and logistics leadership. He currently serves as chief executive officer of KYNTRX Logistics, a logistics platform serving defense, space, semiconductor, and energy transition industries. He also serves as a board trustee and strategic committee member at the Foreign Policy Research Institute.
From 2017 to 2024, Gagne served as president and chief executive officer of SEKO Logistics, where he led the company's expansion from operations in three countries with approximately $400 million in revenue to a global enterprise spanning 60 countries with $2.4 billion in revenue.
"James brings deep experience across global supply chain operations while growing revenue," said Matt Meeker, chief executive officer of BARK. "Having served as CEO at SEKO Logistics and scaled their business in a manner that substantially increased their topline, we're excited to work with him at BARK."
Gagne spent over 20 years operating in China and Hong Kong, holding senior executive roles with Agility, BAX Global/Schenker, and A.P. Moller-Maersk. He has led and supported over 40 acquisitions and joint ventures throughout his career. He holds a bachelor's degree from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and speaks Mandarin Chinese.
