Bitmine reports Ethereum holdings reach 5.18 million tokens
Bitmine Immersion Technologies Inc. (NYSE: BMNR) announced its Ethereum holdings have reached 5.18 million tokens, representing 4.29% of the total ETH supply of 120.7 million coins, according to a company statement.
The company reported total cryptocurrency and cash holdings of $13.1 billion as of May 3, 2026. The holdings include 5,180,131 ETH valued at $2,336 per token, 200 Bitcoin, $700 million in cash, and investments in other companies totaling $283 million.
Bitmine has staked 4,362,757 ETH tokens worth $10.2 billion through its MAVAN staking platform. The company stated its staking operations generated annualized revenues of $297 million with a 7-day yield of 2.91%.
The company completed its uplisting to the New York Stock Exchange from NYSE American on April 9, 2026, continuing to trade under the ticker BMNR. Bitmine reported average daily trading volume of $625 million over a 5-day period, ranking it as the 173rd most traded stock in the United States.
Chairman Thomas Lee stated the company acquired 101,745 ETH in the past week as part of its accumulation strategy. Bitmine operates the MAVAN validator network and plans to expand staking services to institutional investors.
The company's other holdings include a $200 million stake in Beast Industries and $83 million in Eightco Holdings (NASDAQ: ORBS). Bitmine describes itself as pursuing acquisition of 5% of the total Ethereum supply under what it calls the "Alchemy of 5%" strategy.
