Micropolis Robotics unveils M1.5 robot at Emirates industry exhibition
Micropolis AI Robotics (NYSE: MCRP) unveiled its M1.5 robot at the Make it in the Emirates 2026 exhibition in Abu Dhabi. The UAE-based company displayed the hybrid robot from May 4-6 at the industry event.
The M1.5 robot is designed for extended-range operations across longer distances and complex terrains. The company states the platform offers improved off-road mobility, increased endurance, and operational resilience compared to previous models.
According to the company, the robot was developed for high-security and mission-critical environments, particularly for off-road deployments. Micropolis cited operational requirements from entities including the UAE National Guard, Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Interior, and critical infrastructure operators.
"The introduction of the M1.5 reflects our continued focus on extending performance and capability where it matters most: endurance, adaptability, and reliability," said Fareed Aljawhari, founder and chief executive officer of Micropolis.
The M1.5 builds on Micropolis' existing portfolio of autonomous systems, including the Patrol M1 and Patrol M2 platforms. The company also features Microspot, its AI and software platform for real-time monitoring, fleet coordination, and data analytics.
Micropolis reports partnerships with Dubai Police, the UAE National Guard, DP World, and Aramco for security, logistics, and infrastructure applications. The company operates across markets in Saudi Arabia and Africa.
Listed on the NYSE American, Micropolis describes itself as the first UAE robotics company to achieve a public listing in the United States. The company designs, develops, and manufactures its systems in the UAE.
