Cisco names Nichlas Fink as chief accounting officer

Cisco Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: CSCO) announced that M. Victoria Wong will retire as Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer effective May 19, 2026. Wong will continue as an Executive Advisor through July 25, 2026.

The company's Board of Directors appointed Nichlas A. Fink to succeed Wong as Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer, effective May 20, 2026. Fink currently serves as Vice President and Corporate Controller at Cisco.

Fink, 46, joined Cisco in February 2016 and has held his current role since November 2022. He previously served as Vice President of Finance from June 2021 to November 2022 and Senior Director of Finance from February 2016 to June 2021.

Before joining Cisco, Fink was Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of Pyxus International Inc. from January 2014 to February 2016. From 2001 to 2016, he held various positions at Pyxus, Nortel Networks, and Ernst & Young LLP.

In connection with his appointment, Fink is expected to enter into a standard Indemnity Agreement with Cisco that provides for indemnification to the fullest extent permitted by law, according to the company's statement.
