PACS Group acquires Alaska facility, plans 150-bed nursing center
PACS Group, Inc. (NYSE: PACS) announced its subsidiaries acquired operations of Ridgeway Senior Living, a post-acute care facility in Anchorage, Alaska, according to a company statement.
The acquisition marks PACS' fourth facility in Alaska. The company also purchased adjacent land where it plans to construct a 150-bed skilled nursing facility, with completion targeted for 2028.
"We're excited to expand our locally led, centrally supported model in Alaska," said Jason Murray, chairman and chief executive officer. "With our plans to build another skilled nursing center on the property, the campus will provide a full continuum of care and become a valuable community asset."
The expansion increases PACS' portfolio to 325 communities across 17 states, totaling nearly 36,000 beds. The company operates facilities serving over 31,000 patients daily.
PACS Group is a holding company that invests in post-acute healthcare facilities, professionals and ancillary services. Founded in 2013, the company provides technology and administrative support services to healthcare facilities through its PACS Services division.
