Owens Corning promotes Todd Fister to chief financial and operating officer

May 1, 2026 7:30 AM

Owens Corning (NYSE: OC) announced that Todd Fister has been promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial and Operating Officer, effective immediately.

In his expanded role, Fister will execute enterprise initiatives aimed at driving growth and performance while the company conducts an external search for a Chief Financial Officer. He will maintain both operational and financial leadership responsibilities during this transition period.

Fister has served as Owens Corning's Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since 2023. Prior to that role, he served as President of the company's Insulation business from 2019 to 2023. He joined Owens Corning in 2014 after holding leadership positions at MeadWestvaco, Kimberly-Clark, and Procter & Gamble.

"With over 11 years of service at Owens Corning, Todd is a proven and respected leader," said Brian Chambers, Chair and Chief Executive Officer. "His deep strategic and operational expertise, combined with his knowledge of our people and the building products industry, will be critical as we capture the benefits of a more focused company."

The promotion follows Owens Corning's recent sale of its glass reinforcements business, positioning the company to operate as a more integrated entity focused on its building products portfolio. The company provides roofing, insulation, and doors primarily for residential markets in North America and Europe.

Owens Corning, founded in 1938 and headquartered in Toledo, Ohio, trades on the New York Stock Exchange. The company announced the leadership change in connection with its recent Investor Day presentation.
