Grindr Inc. (NYSE: GRND) announced the nomination of three candidates to stand for election to its board of directors at the annual shareholders meeting scheduled for June 2, 2026.

The nominees are Rob Solomon, Lisa Gersh, and Fadi Hanna. Solomon currently serves as CEO of H55, an electric aviation company, and previously held chief executive roles at GoFundMe, Groupon (NASDAQ: GRPN), and SideStep. Gersh has served on the Hasbro (NASDAQ: HAS) board since 2010 and previously led companies including Oxygen Media, GOOP, and Alexander Wang. Hanna is chief risk officer at Bloomberg L.P. and previously worked at J.P. Morgan.

"Over the last few years, we built a strong foundation for Grindr as a public company," said George Arison, chief executive officer of Grindr. "Now we're strengthening the board for the next chapter – adding more strategic and operating depth and governance experience."

J. Michael Gearon Jr., lead independent director of Grindr, said the nominations reflect the company's focus on independent governance and that the candidates bring executive operating and governance experience.

The company conducted a director search through established search firms to identify candidates with operating and governance experience for its next phase, according to the press release statement.

Grindr operates a social networking app with 15 million average monthly active users and is available in 190 countries and territories.
