RadNet Inc. (NASDAQ: RDNT) announced the formation of a joint venture with Saint Alphonsus Health System through the acquisition of a majority equity position in Intermountain Medical Imaging, LLC. The deal involves five outpatient imaging centers in Boise, Idaho.

The joint venture includes three multimodality outpatient imaging centers in Meridian and Eagle, plus facilities at two Saint Alphonsus medical centers. The centers offer MRI, CT, PET/CT, mammography, ultrasound, X-ray and related procedures. Gem State Radiology will continue providing professional radiology services through its network of nearly 30 radiologists, while RadNet will manage operations.

The centers will implement DeepHealth's technology solutions, including a clinical imaging management platform, AI-powered reporting tools, and enterprise AI orchestration capabilities. The deployment also includes FDA-cleared AI solutions for screening and detection across oncology, neurology and musculoskeletal health specialties.

Saint Alphonsus Health System is part of Trinity Health, a not-for-profit health care system operating 92 hospitals across 23 states. The health system serves Idaho, eastern Oregon and northern Nevada communities through four hospitals and 86 medical group clinics.

The joint venture is projected to generate approximately $30 million in annual revenue for RadNet, according to the company's statement.
