Rory A. Held, nominated by Summer Road LLC, was elected to the Ingles Markets board of directors at the company's 2026 annual meeting of shareholders, according to preliminary voting results.

Held received support from approximately 62% of outstanding shares, representing about 70% of total votes cast. Summer Road owns approximately 3% of Ingles Markets' Class A common stock.

Held serves as Chief Investment Officer of Summer Road. Following his election, he stated the result "represents a clear mandate from Class A shareholders that change is needed at Ingles."

"I am now fully focused on putting the proxy contest behind me and working collaboratively together with the other members of the Ingles Board to improve the Company's transparency and instill better oversight of capital allocation," Held said.
