Virtuix Inc. (NASDAQ: VTIX) received a Notice of Allowance from the United States Patent and Trademark Office for its 26th U.S. patent, the company announced. The patent covers mechanical design innovations in the company's Omni One omni-directional treadmill.

The Austin, Texas-based company develops full-body virtual reality systems for consumer, enterprise, and defense markets. The Omni One platform allows users to walk, run, crouch, and jump in 360 degrees within virtual environments.

Virtuix's patent portfolio now includes 26 U.S. patents with five additional patents pending. The patents cover hardware design, motion tracking, and content integration aspects of the company's locomotion technology.
