CoreWeave expands SUNK platform with self-service and multi-cloud tools

April 30, 2026 8:01 AM

CoreWeave Inc. (NASDAQ: CRWV) announced expansions to its SUNK platform designed to accelerate artificial intelligence cluster deployment across cloud environments. The company introduced SUNK Self-Service and SUNK Anywhere to address operational complexity in AI training infrastructure.

SUNK Self-Service provides guided cluster setup using standardized configurations, allowing teams to deploy AI training research clusters without custom architecture work. The service includes automated user provisioning that syncs with identity providers and configures permissions within clusters.

SUNK Anywhere extends the platform beyond CoreWeave's infrastructure, enabling teams to operate AI workloads with consistent workflows across multi-cloud and on-premises environments. The tool aims to reduce operational fragmentation when teams scale across different infrastructure types.

The platform integrates with CoreWeave Mission Control, which provides real-time visibility into GPU and node performance to identify issues that could affect training synchronization. SUNK combines Kubernetes orchestration with Slurm job scheduling for cluster management.

"Every AI team we work with is running jobs across more regions, more hardware generations, and even more cloud environments than they were a year ago," said Chen Goldberg, executive vice president of product and engineering at CoreWeave.

CoreWeave recently achieved top rankings in SemiAnalysis ClusterMAX evaluations and set MLPerf benchmark records. The company completed its public listing in March 2025 and positions itself as a specialized cloud provider for AI workloads.

The information comes from a company press release announcing the platform enhancements.
