RPC adds Wesley Slagle to board of directors
RPC, Inc. (NYSE: RES) announced the election of Wesley N. Slagle to its board of directors, according to a company statement.
Slagle serves as president of RFA Management Company, LLC. He holds a bachelor's degree in systems engineering from the United States Naval Academy and an MBA from Emory University.
From 2014 to 2022, Slagle worked at Goldman Sachs in multiple positions, including managing director and Mid-Atlantic region head of the firm's Private Wealth Management division. Before Goldman Sachs, he held various roles at AllianceBernstein and GE Energy. He also served as an officer aboard a nuclear-powered fast attack submarine in the US Navy.
"Wes Slagle's financial and operational knowledge brings capital allocation, strategic planning, and meaningful investment experience to the Board," said Richard A. Hubbell, executive chairman of RPC's board.
RPC provides specialized oilfield services and equipment to independent and major oilfield companies engaged in oil and gas exploration, production and development throughout the United States and selected international markets.
