Albany Engineered Composites, a segment of Albany International Corp. (NYSE: AIN), received a long-term contract from Pratt & Whitney to produce composite structural engine components for the Pratt & Whitney GTF engine used in commercial aviation.

The contract extends through 2036 and represents Albany Engineered Composites' first volume production program with Pratt & Whitney. The company will manufacture composite structural components for the geared turbofan engine.

The agreement expands Albany Engineered Composites' portfolio of composite engine structures for the aerospace industry. Pratt & Whitney is a business unit of RTX Corporation.

Albany International Corp. operates 25 facilities in 12 countries and employs approximately 5,700 people worldwide. The company has two core businesses: Machine Clothing, which produces consumable belts for paper and other industrial applications, and Albany Engineered Composites, which designs and manufactures advanced materials-based components for aerospace applications.
