Cushman & Wakefield hires Tom Maloney as chair of occupier advisory

Cushman & Wakefield (NYSE: CWK) announced that Tom Maloney has joined the commercial real estate services firm as Chair of Occupier Advisory Services. In this senior leadership role, Maloney will focus on growth acceleration and talent development for the company's occupier advisory platform.

Maloney will report directly to Matt Chatham, President of Occupier Advisory Services, and will concentrate on enterprise-level strategy, business development, talent mentoring, recruiting, and executive client support. Based in Los Angeles, his responsibilities will extend globally to support client operations.

"Tom brings an exceptional track record and a proven ability to scale and grow a commercial real estate advisory and services business," said Chatham in a company statement.

Maloney joins Cushman & Wakefield with more than 35 years of industry experience. He previously served at JLL as Executive Vice Chairman, where he worked on client success initiatives and talent development. He also held the position of President of JLL's Tenant Representation business and served on the company's Brokerage Operating Committee while leading business operations in the Southwest Region.

Cushman & Wakefield operates approximately 53,000 employees across over 350 offices in nearly 60 countries. The firm reported revenue of $10.3 billion in 2025 across its core service lines including services, leasing, capital markets, and valuation.
