Experian integrates financial education into Snapchat's AI ad format
Experian announced plans to integrate into Snapchat's AI Sponsored Snaps ad offering to provide financial education through conversational AI on the social media platform.
The credit reporting company will deliver AI-powered responses to common financial questions such as credit score improvement and budgeting directly within Snapchat conversations. The integration targets younger adult audiences who use the platform for daily communication.
"Consumers are increasingly talking about finances in social and digital spaces, and we want to be there as a trusted, credible voice," said Debbie Hsu, Executive Vice President of Product, Experian Consumer Services.
Snapchat's AI Sponsored Snaps format allows users to engage with Experian through conversational exchanges covering topics including credit understanding, expense management, and personal information protection. The experience provides general information rather than personalized financial advice.
Snapchat reports over 110 million monthly active users in the United States and more than 950 billion chats sent globally in the first quarter of 2026, according to the company.
"By combining Experian's trusted financial insights with AI Sponsored Snaps, we can invite consumers into interactive chats about credit and money management in a way that feels intuitive, personal, and in the moment," said Ajit Mohan, Chief Business Officer at Snap Inc.
The integration follows Experian's previous collaboration with ChatGPT for auto insurance exploration through the Experian Marketplace. The company trades on the London Stock Exchange under the ticker EXPN.
Experian operates across financial services, healthcare, automotive, and insurance sectors with 25,200 employees across 33 countries. The company's corporate headquarters are located in Dublin, Ireland.
