Forrester launches AI agent for Microsoft 365 Copilot integration

April 28, 2026 1:32 PM

Forrester (NASDAQ: FORR) launched its Forrester AI agent for Microsoft 365 Copilot, allowing existing license holders to access the company's research directly within their Microsoft workflows at no additional cost.

The integration enables users with active Forrester Decisions, Forrester Market Insights, and Forrester AI Access licenses to engage with Forrester's research, tools, and frameworks through conversational interactions within Copilot. The agent provides access to analyst insights, research verification capabilities, and the ability to create executive summaries.

The launch was showcased at Forrester's B2B Summit North America and follows the company's recent Microsoft Teams integration. According to the press release, the agent supports interactions in more than 200 languages and can be accessed on both desktop and mobile platforms.

"We have entered a new era of work where AI is embedded into every workflow and every decision," said Carrie Johnson, chief product officer at Forrester. "By launching the Forrester AI agent for Microsoft 365 Copilot, we are accelerating this strategy, embedding Forrester AI deeper into daily workflows so our clients can turn our advice and insights into faster, better decisions."

The company indicated it plans additional integrations with public large language models and productivity platforms. Forrester's Model Context Protocol connector will allow clients to integrate the research into their proprietary systems.

Current license holders can download the Forrester AI app for Copilot and Teams from the Microsoft Marketplace. The integration allows users to access analyst contributors, schedule inquiry sessions, and consume research across business and technology functions within the existing Microsoft environment.
