T-Mobile launches SuperBroadband combining 5G and Starlink for business internet

April 28, 2026 9:11 AM

T-Mobile US Inc. (NASDAQ: TMUS) announced the launch of SuperBroadband, a business internet service that integrates the company's 5G network with Starlink satellite broadband to provide redundant connectivity for commercial customers.

The service combines T-Mobile's 5G network with SpaceX's Starlink satellite constellation to deliver internet access with built-in backup connectivity. SuperBroadband uses outdoor 5G equipment and routers that automatically switch between the two connection types to maintain uptime during outages.

T-Mobile states the service extends coverage to business locations across all ZIP codes in the United States and includes a 99.99% uptime guarantee. The company provides the service through a single contract and billing arrangement, with installation and field services supported by partner Acuative.

Aramark Destinations has implemented SuperBroadband for its hospitality operations in remote locations. "With SuperBroadband, we have the opportunity to bring a resilient, always-on foundation with built-in redundancy and a single, standardized approach," said Dimple Jethani, chief information officer at Aramark Destinations.

The service utilizes Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions' NetCloud Manager for network management and Ericsson Cradlepoint routers. T-Mobile plans to expand its equipment ecosystem with partners including Inseego for additional wireless broadband solutions.

Businesses can monitor the service through T-Mobile's T-Platform, which provides real-time visibility into hardware performance, usage data and failover events from a centralized portal.

The announcement follows T-Mobile's expansion of its unlimited 5G Business Internet service to additional business locations nationwide, according to the company's press release.
