Super Micro Computer Inc. (NASDAQ: SMCI) announced the expansion of its Data Center Building Block Solutions portfolio with new ARM-based server platforms and Open Compute Project systems. The company introduced servers powered by ARM's AGI CPU and new OCP ORv3-compliant rack offerings.

The expanded portfolio includes two new ARM-based systems in 2U and 5U form factors featuring ARM AGI CPUs with up to 136 ARM Neoverse V3 cores, 24 DIMM slots supporting up to 6TB of DDR5 memory, and 8 front hot-swap 2.5-inch NVMe drive bays.

Supermicro added a new 2U GPU system compatible with 21-inch OCP ORv3 racks, featuring dual Intel Xeon 6 6700 series processors and integrating the NVIDIA HGX B300 8-GPU platform with 5th Generation NVLink. The company also made available its FlexTwin system, a dual-node platform in a 1-OU chassis designed for high-performance computing and AI workloads.

The FlexTwin system incorporates Supermicro's DLC-2 liquid cooling solution for CPUs, memory, and voltage regulator modules, which the company states removes up to 90% of system-generated heat. The system supports current Intel processors and future Intel and AMD CPUs.

Supermicro holds a seat on the OCP Advisory Board and states it leads the industry with over 20 OCP Inspired systems that incorporate various OCP technologies and form factors. The company operates globally with design and manufacturing facilities in the United States, Taiwan, and the Netherlands.
