Xerox launches IT service platform for small and mid-size businesses
Xerox Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ: XRX) announced the launch of Xerox IT as a Service, an AI-powered platform built on ServiceNow technology designed to manage IT operations for small and medium-sized businesses.
The platform combines managed services, automation, procurement, and real-time intelligence into a unified system. According to the company, the service aims to help organizations transition from reactive IT support to autonomous operations through predictive monitoring and automated workflows.
The platform includes four capabilities: intelligent operations with predictive monitoring, AI-driven workflow automation, integrated procurement and lifecycle management, and real-time performance dashboards. Xerox states the service is designed specifically for SMB and commercial mid-market organizations.
"For decades, IT services have been delivered through people, tickets, and reactive workflows. That model is no longer sufficient," said Manu Gandhi, president of Xerox IT Solutions and chief technology officer at Xerox.
ServiceNow supports the technical foundation of the platform. "Xerox IT as a Service, built on the ServiceNow AI Platform, helps growing businesses simplify technology management, reduce risk, and operate with the efficiency and insight they need to excel," said Jen Odess, group vice president at ServiceNow.
Fresh Thyme Market has implemented the platform as an early adopter. "With Xerox ITaaS, we're gaining real-time visibility and more predictable operations," said Craig Diggs, director of Technology at Fresh Thyme Market.
The service is available in the United States, with global expansion planned for 2026. The launch represents Xerox's continued shift from product-focused operations to services and platform delivery, according to the press release.
