SaverOne receives European patent for mobile device classification technology

SaverOne 2014 Ltd. (NASDAQ: SVRE) announced that the European Patent Office granted the company a new patent for classifying mobile communication devices using sensor fusion technology.

The patent, numbered EP23712362.5 and titled "A System and Method for Classifying an Operational Mode of Mobile Communication Devices Based on Sensor Fusion," covers methods for determining how mobile devices are being used through sensor data analysis.

SaverOne's intellectual property portfolio now includes 23 patents, with 16 granted across multiple jurisdictions and seven pending. The company's patents cover markets including the United States, Europe, Israel, China, and the United Kingdom.

"The sensor fusion technology underlying this patent enables more accurate and real-time classification of mobile device activity, enhancing the effectiveness of our distraction prevention solutions," said Ori Gilboa, CEO of SaverOne.

SaverOne develops transportation safety solutions using AI technology that detects and analyzes cell phone radio frequency signals. The company's products focus on preventing vehicle accidents caused by mobile phone use while driving.

The Petah Tikvah, Israel-based company also develops sensor systems for detecting vulnerable road users through their mobile device signals under various visibility conditions.
