KULR Technology Group adds Microsoft director to board
KULR Technology Group Inc. (NYSE American: KULR) appointed Ben Frank, a Microsoft director, and Mike Kimel, a pricing optimization specialist, to its board of directors effective immediately, according to a company statement.
Frank serves as Director of Workforce AI Solution Engineering at Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ: MSFT), where he leads technical teams supporting enterprise customers deploying AI platforms within Microsoft's Energy & Resources organization. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Kimel brings more than 30 years of experience as a corporate executive and consultant. He is the founder and CEO of Pricimetrics Inc., a pricing and analytics firm. Kimel previously held senior pricing and analytics roles at OmniSource, Toyo Tires, and Sears Holdings. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
The Houston-based company streamlined its board to three members, including two majority independent directors, as part of efforts to reduce selling, general and administrative expenses in 2026. KULR also appointed a special advisor to implement an operating discipline framework focused on pricing discipline, capital allocation and cost controls.
"Mr. Frank and Dr. Kimel bring expertise at the intersection of artificial intelligence, enterprise sales, and pricing optimization that will be highly valuable as KULR continues to scale," said Michael Mo, co-founder and chief executive officer.
KULR develops battery safety and thermal control solutions for lithium-ion systems used in space and defense missions, AI data centers, and telecom infrastructure.
