April 28, 2026 7:59 AM

Purple Innovation Inc. (NASDAQ: PRPL) announced Robert Lucian will join as chief financial officer effective April 27, 2026, replacing Todd Vogensen who departs May 1, 2026, to pursue another opportunity.

Lucian previously served as CFO of La-Z-Boy Incorporated, where he led the finance organization and contributed to strategic planning during a period that included retail expansion and improved profitability. Before La-Z-Boy, he was CFO of Coty's North America Professional Beauty division, managing the integration of Procter & Gamble's Professional Hair Care business after Coty's 2016 acquisition of P&G's Specialty Beauty businesses.

Lucian spent more than three decades at Procter & Gamble in leadership roles across business units, corporate finance, business development and supply chain finance. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA with concentrations in finance and international business from the University of Cincinnati.

"We've recruited a highly accomplished CFO with direct experience in our market dynamics to lead the company's next chapter," said Rob DeMartini, Purple Innovation CEO, in a statement. The company cited Lucian's experience in retail and manufacturing operations.

Vogensen served as CFO for two and a half years. DeMartini said Vogensen decided to leave for an opportunity closer to home supporting transaction readiness at a private company.

Purple Innovation manufactures mattresses and sleep products featuring its GelFlex Grid technology, which the company says was originally developed for medical applications.
