lululemon appoints Esi Eggleston Bracey to board of directors
Lululemon athletica inc. (NASDAQ: LULU) announced the appointment of Esi Eggleston Bracey to its board of directors, effective immediately. Bracey previously served as Chief Growth & Marketing Officer of Unilever PLC.
The appointment marks the sixth new independent director added to the board in the past five years. Bracey will stand for election at lululemon's 2026 Annual Meeting of Shareholders, replacing Shane Grant, who will not seek re-election at the end of his current term.
Bracey brings over 30 years of experience in global consumer goods companies, including leadership roles at Unilever, Coty Inc., and Procter & Gamble. At Unilever, she led global marketing transformation across more than 400 brands and previously served as President of Unilever USA and CEO of Unilever Personal Care, North America.
"Esi is a seasoned consumer and beauty industry executive whose career has combined brand creation, category transformation, global general management, and enterprise leadership," said Marti Morfitt, Executive Chair of the Board.
Bracey currently serves on the board of Williams-Sonoma, Inc. since 2021 and previously served on the board of Six Flags Entertainment Corporation. She holds a bachelor's degree in engineering sciences from Dartmouth College.
The company stated that the board continuously evaluates its composition to ensure appropriate skills and experience alignment with future business needs. Information about the appointment was provided in a press release statement.
