April 28, 2026 7:01 AM

Honeywell (NASDAQ: HON) announced the board of directors for Honeywell Aerospace, which will become a standalone public company following a planned spinoff expected to complete on June 29, 2026.

Craig Arnold will serve as independent chairman of the 11-person board. Arnold is the former chairman and chief executive officer of Eaton Corporation and currently serves as lead independent director at Medtronic and as a director at KKR and Procter & Gamble.

Jim Currier, president and CEO of Honeywell Aerospace, will join the board. Currier has led the aerospace technologies division since August 2023 and has been with Honeywell for nearly 20 years.

The board includes several current Honeywell directors who will transition to the aerospace company: Bill Ayer, retired chairman and CEO of Alaska Air Group; Scott Davis, retired chairman and CEO of United Parcel Service; and Deborah Flint, president and CEO of Greater Toronto Airports Authority.

New directors bring aerospace and defense expertise, including retired Air Force General David Goldfein, former chief of staff of the Air Force, and Will Roper, former senior acquisition executive for the Air Force and Space Force who managed a $60 billion annual portfolio.

Financial sector representation includes David Denton, chief financial officer of Pfizer; Pascal Desroches, chief financial officer of AT&T; and Michelle Seitz, founder and CEO of MeydenVest Partners and former CEO of Russell Investments.

Mark Reuss, president of General Motors, rounds out the board with automotive industry experience spanning more than 40 years.

The appointments become effective upon completion of the spinoff, which remains subject to final approval from Honeywell's board and other customary conditions. Management plans to provide details on Honeywell Aerospace's financial outlook at an investor day scheduled for June 3, 2026.
