Incyte names Suketu Upadhyay as chief financial officer

Incyte (NASDAQ: INCY) appointed Suketu Upadhyay as executive vice president and chief financial officer effective May 4, 2026, according to a press release statement.



Upadhyay will lead the company's global finance organization, overseeing strategic financial planning, capital allocation, investor relations, finance planning and accounting, global sourcing, environmental social and governance functions, information technology and facilities.



"Suky will oversee all aspects of our finance function. He will guide our capital allocation approach and apply effective financial stewardship in support of value creation for our shareholders," said Bill Meury, chief executive officer of Incyte.



Upadhyay most recently served as executive vice president and chief financial officer at Zimmer Biomet, an orthopedic solutions manufacturer. His previous roles included senior vice president of global financial operations at Bristol Myers Squibb and executive vice president and chief financial officer at Endo International.



He also served as interim chief financial officer and chief accounting officer at Becton Dickinson and held finance and business development positions at AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson. Upadhyay holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Albright College and an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
