Roadzen's VehicleCare wins major contract from large Indian insurer
Roadzen Inc. (NASDAQ: RDZN) announced that its subsidiary VehicleCare has secured a contract with one of India's largest general insurers to process auto insurance claims through its nationwide repair network.
The contract is expected to generate over $10 million in annual revenue for VehicleCare as claims volumes increase across the insurer's motor claims network. The contracting insurer operates through more than 1,000 branches nationwide and maintains a motor portfolio with millions of policies and an annual motor claims pool of approximately $800 million.
VehicleCare operates AutoSpace, a workshop management software platform that digitizes repair processes across a network of more than 1,200 verified workshops in metro, Tier-1, and Tier-2 cities in India. The platform has processed more than 150,000 claims and delivered a 30% reduction in loss costs compared to original equipment manufacturer garages, according to the company.
Under the contract, VehicleCare will serve as a preferred repair partner for the insurer's motor claims, providing cashless repair services to policyholders within guaranteed timeframes. The insurer will receive digital visibility into repair status, parts procurement, and completion milestones through the AutoSpace platform.
"Being selected by one of India's largest general insurers is a validation of everything VehicleCare has built," said Rohan Malhotra, Founder and CEO of Roadzen. "With exposure to an approximately $800 million annual motor claims pool, we believe this engagement can generate over $10 million in annual revenue for VehicleCare as volumes ramp."
Arvind Verma, CEO of VehicleCare, called the contract "a landmark win" and said it represents "a major step forward in our mission to modernize India's motor claims repair ecosystem."
