Cycurion wins $6 million municipal contract, reports $112 million backlog
Cycurion Inc. (NASDAQ: CYCU) announced it received a $6 million purchase order under a Master Services Agreement from a major U.S. municipality. The cybersecurity and government technology solutions provider said the multi-year contract allows it to provide professional consulting services including cybersecurity, data analytics, and information technology solutions.
The base contract term spans three years with two additional one-year option periods. Services include organization and management consulting, internal audit support, and cybersecurity services delivered on an as-needed basis.
Chief Executive Officer Kevin Kelly stated the company maintains a total contracted backlog of $112 million. He said the company has $15 to $17 million locked in for each of the years 2026, 2027, and 2028, with contracts averaging approximately four years and extending up to ten years.
The McLean, Virginia-based company provides cybersecurity solutions and artificial intelligence services to government, healthcare, and corporate clients. Cycurion operates through subsidiaries including Axxum Technologies LLC, Cloudburst Security LLC, and Cycurion Innovation Inc.
The contract award expands Cycurion's presence in state and local government sectors. The company describes the agreement as strengthening its position in the municipal technology services market.
