Swarmer names Mykhailo Nestor as chief product officer
Swarmer Inc. (NASDAQ: SWMR) appointed Mykhailo Nestor as chief product officer, according to a company statement. Nestor will oversee product strategy and development for the drone autonomy software company's platform.
The appointment occurs as Swarmer expands into allied defense markets. The company's software has supported more than 100,000 combat missions in Ukraine since April 2024, according to the statement.
Nestor joins from Kyivstar Group Ltd., where he served as chief product officer and board member for seven years. Kyivstar is Ukraine's largest digital operator with a market capitalization of approximately $2.8 billion. At Kyivstar, Nestor led the product organization for digital platforms and services used by millions of customers.
"Mykhailo has spent his career building software infrastructure at an impressive scale and is the right person to lead our product team," said Swarmer Global CEO Serhii Kupriienko in the statement.
Before Kyivstar, Nestor held leadership roles at Creatio, working on enterprise customer relationship management and process automation products. He also founded startup LifeTracker.io and helped build Havas Digital, leading digital marketing and technology projects.
Swarmer specializes in autonomous swarm coordination, multi-domain unmanned systems integration, and command and control software for distributed operations. The company's primary customers are drone manufacturers who license Swarmer's software for integration with their hardware platforms.
The Austin, Texas-based company has offices in the U.S., Ukraine, Poland and Estonia.
