Foresight partners with European automaker for AI vision system test

April 24, 2026 8:06 AM

Foresight Autonomous Holdings Ltd. (NASDAQ: FRSX) announced an agreement with an unnamed European car manufacturer to develop a proof-of-concept for its stereo vision artificial intelligence solution targeting off-road driving scenarios.

Under the agreement, Foresight will develop a system based on its stereo vision technology for installation on the car manufacturer's vehicle platform. The system will analyze surroundings in real-time, assess off-road passability according to vehicle parameters, and display visual guidance on safe and unsafe areas with support for different field types.

The proof-of-concept will include live demonstrations in daylight and low-light conditions at the car manufacturer's facilities. Upon successful completion of the first phase, the parties plan to enter a joint development agreement for a second phase that would introduce automatic AI-based field classification, localized sub-region evaluation, and enhanced environmental adaptability.

"We are excited to partner with a top-tier car manufacture on this strategic POC," said Oren Bar-On, Co-Chief Executive Officer of Foresight Automotive Ltd. "Surroundings intelligence, powered by our proven stereoscopic vision expertise, directly addresses key off-road challenges by providing reliable real-time field awareness and path recommendations, even in demanding conditions."

Foresight develops 3D perception systems and cellular-based applications through its subsidiaries. The company's technology serves automotive, defense, autonomous driving, agriculture, heavy industrial equipment and unmanned aerial vehicle markets.

The information is based on a company press release statement.
