Bristol Myers Squibb and Pfizer partner with Mark Cuban's Cost Plus Drugs
Bristol Myers Squibb (NYSE: BMY) and Pfizer (NYSE: PFE) announced a collaboration with Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Company to offer Eliquis through the online pharmacy platform beginning April 27, 2026.
Patients with a prescription will pay $345 for a 30-day supply of Eliquis through Cost Plus Drugs. The blood thinner medication treats atrial fibrillation, deep vein thrombosis, and pulmonary embolism.
"The BMS-Pfizer Alliance is pleased to expand our direct-to-patient options for accessing Eliquis — a medicine relied upon by millions of Americans daily — to the popular Cost Plus Drugs platform," said Adam Lenkowsky, chief commercial officer at Bristol Myers Squibb.
Mark Cuban, co-founder of Cost Plus Drugs, stated the partnership addresses customer requests for Eliquis availability on the platform. "People shouldn't have to guess what they're going to pay for a medication they depend on," Cuban said.
The collaboration follows the 2025 launch of a direct-to-patient offering through the BMS-Pfizer Alliance's Eliquis 360 Support program, accessible via BMS Patient Connect.
Eliquis is described in the announcement as one of the most widely prescribed oral anticoagulants in the United States. The companies stated that for every 100,000 patients treated, Eliquis has resulted in an estimated $3 billion in total healthcare cost savings.
The partnership provides cash-paying patients another option to access the medication directly, according to the press release statement.
