Evotec names Claire Hinshelwood as new CFO, replacing Paul Hitchin

Evotec SE (NASDAQ: EVO) announced that Chief Financial Officer Paul Hitchin will step down on April 30, 2026, for personal reasons unrelated to the company. Claire Hinshelwood will succeed him as CFO effective May 1, 2026.



Hitchin has served as CFO since March 1, 2025, leading the company through what Evotec described as a significant financial and strategic evolution. The Supervisory Board accepted his decision and expressed appreciation for his contributions.



Hinshelwood brings more than 30 years of financial leadership experience to the role. She most recently served as Group Chief Finance Officer of BMI Group, where she transformed financial operations and improved the company's financial position during challenging market conditions. Her previous experience includes serving as Global Head of Finance Operations at Novartis and holding various positions at Syngenta, including Head of Business Services for Latin America and Head of Finance for the East Europe and Asia-Pacific regions.



She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accountancy and Finance from Heriot-Watt University and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

Regarding Hinshelwood's appointment, Wojczewski stated that her financial expertise and leadership record across multiple industries position her to advance the company's progress toward increased profitability and sustainable growth.
