Kyndryl expands Google Cloud partnership for enterprise IT modernization

Kyndryl (NYSE: KD) announced the expansion of its collaboration with Google Cloud to help enterprises modernize IT infrastructure and advance AI-powered innovation, according to a company statement released April 23.

The partnership includes several customer implementations across multiple regions. In Mexico, Kyndryl is working with Google Cloud to support PiSA Farmacéutica's technology modernization, establishing a cloud-based foundation for digital capabilities and future AI initiatives. The company is also partnering with Southbay, Nike's distributor in Argentina and Uruguay, to modernize data management on Google Cloud for real-time inventory and sales visibility.

Kyndryl launched an AI-powered Aviation Industry Cloud Solution designed to run on Google Cloud, aimed at helping airlines modernize operations and enhance customer experiences. The solution combines Kyndryl's aviation expertise with Google Cloud's capabilities to streamline operations.

The company achieved the Google Cloud Ready – Energy & Carbon designation, enabling it to help organizations design energy-efficient IT operations using AI-driven insights. Kyndryl announced an extended agreement with CMPC in Chile to modernize the company's IT operations, including migrating enterprise resource planning environment and corporate applications to Google Cloud.
