Kodiak AI Inc. (NASDAQ: KDK) announced April 23 that it appointed Tim Guin and Natalie Draisin to its Industry Advisory Council. The autonomous vehicle technology company said the new members bring experience from transportation and safety organizations.

Guin served as Chief Commercial Officer at Hirschbach Motor Lines before retiring and held senior roles at USA Truck, Arnold Transportation Services, Swift Transportation, and U.S. Xpress Enterprises. Draisin currently serves as Director of the North American Office and United Nations Representative for the FIA Foundation, focusing on mobility systems. She previously worked at the National Transportation Safety Board, World Health Organization, and Accenture.

The company also announced that Anne Ferro, former Administrator of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, is retiring from the council. Ferro previously served as President and CEO of the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators.

Kodiak established its Industry Advisory Council in 2024 to bring together leaders from transportation, safety, logistics, and policy sectors. The council meets quarterly to advise on product direction and implementation of autonomous trucking technology.

The Mountain View, California-based company develops AI-powered autonomous vehicle technology for trucking applications. Kodiak claims it became the first company to deploy customer-owned driverless trucks in commercial service in 2024.
