Hims & Hers Health Inc. (NYSE: HIMS) expanded its platform functionality to allow providers to prescribe Eli Lilly's Zepbound vials and KwikPen devices to customers through the LillyDirect pharmacy.

The telehealth company said providers on its platform can now send prescriptions for Zepbound and Foundayo to LillyDirect pharmacy, enabling Hims & Hers customers to access self-pay pricing for these medications. The functionality is supported by the company's weight loss membership program.

The expansion follows Hims & Hers' previously announced collaboration with Novo Nordisk to provide customer access to Wegovy injections and pills. The company described the moves as part of a strategic shift in its U.S. weight loss business to offer more treatment options.

Hims & Hers said the platform changes allow licensed providers to help patients access FDA-approved GLP-1 medications. The company's weight loss membership includes support services, care team access, nutrition guidance, clinical check-ins, and peer support through its weight loss community.

The telehealth platform specializes in providing direct-to-consumer healthcare services and prescription medications for various conditions including hair loss, sexual health, and weight management.
