ParaZero signs reseller deal with Romanian defense firm
ParaZero Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: PRZO) announced a reseller agreement with New Akord Security, a Romania-based defense and homeland security integrator, according to a company statement.
Under the agreement, New Akord Security will market ParaZero's DefendAir counter-drone system across Romania and provide training and local support to end users. The Romanian company purchased an initial demo kit that includes a Personal Net Launcher, Net Pod, and training package.
The companies plan to conduct a live demonstration in Romania for representatives of the Romanian Ministry of Defense during the Black Sea Defense, Aerospace and Security International Exhibition from May 13-15, 2026, in Bucharest.
DefendAir is described as a counter-unmanned aerial systems solution that uses net-launching technology to intercept drones. The system is designed to protect military personnel, infrastructure, and urban areas from drone threats.
"Rising tensions across Europe, coupled with the shift toward a multi-dimensional battlefield-where drones now play a central role-have made air defense increasingly complex and challenging," said Ariel Alon, CEO of ParaZero.
Valentin Dumitrache, CEO of New Akord Security, said the agreement represents the company's efforts since 2021 to bring counter-drone solutions to the defense sector.
ParaZero, based in Kfar Saba, Israel, develops autonomous solutions for manned and unmanned aerial systems. The company will exhibit at the Bucharest defense exhibition as part of the Israeli National Pavilion.
