Elastic integrates security platform with Google cloud air-gapped system
Elastic (NYSE: ESTC) announced an integration with Google Distributed Cloud air-gapped environments, where its security operations platform will provide embedded security capabilities for organizations handling sensitive data in disconnected environments.
The integration combines Google's cloud services and AI capabilities with Elastic's security platform in fully disconnected, secure environments designed for highly regulated industries. Google Distributed Cloud air-gapped is part of Google's Sovereign Cloud solutions for organizations with strict sovereignty and regulatory requirements.
"For organizations requiring an additional layer of security, Elastic's agentic security operations platform brings enhanced data security and data sovereignty capabilities to customers, helping them to combat modern, AI-driven cyber threats," said Rohan Grover, senior director of Product at Google Distributed Cloud.
Elastic Security combines Security Information and Event Management, Extended Detection and Response, and automation with AI capabilities. Within the Google Distributed Cloud air-gapped environments, the platform provides data sovereignty and compliance features, simplified security operations, and AI-enhanced analyst capabilities using Google's language models.
The integration addresses security challenges in regulated environments where organizations must detect AI-driven threats while maintaining data sovereignty and compliance requirements. Mike Nichols, general manager of Security at Elastic, said the integration brings "a unified, agentic security operations platform designed to meet those demands."
Elastic previously partnered with the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency and ECS in December 2025 to standardize cybersecurity monitoring across federal agencies. CISA uses Elastic to deliver SIEM-as-a-Service across Federal Civilian Executive Branch Agencies.
Google Distributed Cloud air-gapped with Elastic Security will be generally available to customers in May 2026, according to the company announcement.
