Aramark launches platform for AI data center workforce services

April 23, 2026 7:30 AM

Aramark (NYSE: ARMK) announced the launch of Aramark Nexus, a platform providing integrated hospitality and workforce support services for hyperscale AI data centers and remote operating environments.

The Philadelphia-based company secured a multi-year agreement with an unnamed global hyperscaler to provide comprehensive hospitality and facilities services across multiple AI data center locations. Revenue from this engagement will begin in the current fiscal year.

"We see substantial long-term growth potential in hyperscale digital infrastructure," said John Zillmer, Aramark's Chief Executive Officer. "Aramark Nexus extends our proven remote operations model into a new, strategically important sector."

The platform addresses workforce needs at AI data centers, which often require thousands of skilled workers to live and work for extended periods in remote locations. Services include employee housing, dining facilities, transportation, wellness programs, security, and daily life services through a unified management structure.

Aramark's initial AI data center engagement involves a workforce campus spanning hundreds of acres supporting thousands of workers. The company will provide employee housing, dining and hospitality hubs with amenities and entertainment, transportation to construction sites, and housekeeping services.

The new platform builds on Aramark's experience operating in remote environments including offshore energy installations, mining operations, and national parks. While the initial engagement is based in the United States, the company designed Aramark Nexus to scale globally across different regions and project sizes.

Aramark provides food and facilities management services to educational institutions, Fortune 500 companies, sports teams, healthcare providers, and municipalities in 16 countries. The information is based on a company press release statement.
