Texas Capital Bancshares Inc. (NASDAQ: TCBI) announced the appointment of Jeff Hood as managing director and chief human resources officer, effective May 4, 2026.

Hood joins from Citizens Financial Group, bringing more than 25 years of experience in human resources and financial services. He will oversee talent, leadership, organizational effectiveness and total rewards, reporting to Chairman, President and CEO Rob C. Holmes.

The Dallas-based bank also announced several leadership changes effective immediately. John Cummings was named chief operating officer, continuing to oversee retail branches, operations, corporate real estate, security, community development, marketing, events and communications.

Jay Clingman will transition to head of private banking and family office, while Dustin Cosper will serve as head of commercial banking, overseeing real estate, middle market banking, business banking and SBA teams.

Matt Scurlock, the company's chief financial officer, will also assume the role of president of Texas Capital Bank. Daniel Hoverman remains president of TCBI Securities Inc.

The appointments are part of what the company described as a shift from a transformation-focused structure to one designed for faster decision making and commercial agility. Texas Capital operates as the parent company of Texas Capital Bank and has offices in Dallas, Austin, Houston, San Antonio and Fort Worth.
