April 23, 2026 6:01 AM

FreeCast and DIRECTV Multifamily announced a national distribution agreement that authorizes FreeCast to market and sell DIRECTV streaming services in multifamily housing communities.

Under the agreement, FreeCast becomes a licensed distributor of DIRECTV services across apartments, condominiums, homeowners associations, student housing, and senior living communities. The partnership allows DIRECTV to reach new customers through FreeCast's existing distribution network in the multifamily sector.

Multifamily residents can access DIRECTV's streaming services and have the option to upgrade to premium services including HBO Max, Paramount+, SHOWTIME, STARZ, and MGM+. The agreement includes property-specific pricing designed for multifamily communities.

"Our business model has always been about giving people what they want, giving them options," said FreeCast CEO William Mobley. "Being able to make DIRECTV available in the multifamily space is a significant opportunity for us to further meet the needs of property owners and residents with a trusted, premium television offering."

FreeCast operates as a media infrastructure company that provides streaming platform services to telecom operators, internet service providers, municipalities, enterprises, and brands. The company's platform combines content aggregation, subscription bundling, and payment management services.

The information was provided in a company press release.
