Hippo Holdings Inc. (NYSE: HIPO) announced the appointment of Stewart Ellis, its executive vice president and chief strategy officer, to the company's board of directors effective June 3, 2026.

Ellis will resign from his current position and become a consultant to the company starting May 1, 2026, according to a press release statement. Ellis previously served as Hippo's chief financial officer and has been with the insurance technology company for seven years.

Rick McCathron, Hippo's president and CEO, stated that Ellis "built a world-class finance team, oversaw our transition from a private to public company, led several strategic acquisitions and divestitures, and was a core partner to both me and the Board in defining our vision and strategy."
