April 22, 2026 8:18 AM

YY Group Holding Limited (NASDAQ: YYGH) announced the launch of an AI training data platform designed to generate datasets for robotics and artificial intelligence applications. The Singapore-based workforce solutions company said it will leverage its network of more than 500,000 users across 12 countries to collect structured real-world human activity data.

The company is establishing a dedicated training and data collection facility in Johor, Malaysia, to capture human workflows across service environments. The initiative aims to convert operational tasks into datasets for training AI models and humanoid robotic systems.

The platform will operate through YY Group's existing YY Circle App, allowing the company to mobilize its user network for structured data collection through dedicated shifts. The company said this approach will enable large-scale dataset generation using its current operational infrastructure.

"This strategic initiative reflects the evolution of YY Group's platform capabilities beyond workforce services and into the AI data infrastructure layer," said Mike Fu, Chief Executive Officer of YY Group Holding Limited. "By leveraging our global network, we are uniquely positioned to generate the real-world human data required for AI systems to operate effectively in physical spaces."

YY Group currently provides on-demand workforce solutions and integrated facilities management services across Asia and other regions. The company operates in Singapore, Malaysia, and maintains presence in Asia, Europe, Africa, Oceania, and the Middle East.

The AI training data platform represents an expansion into technology-driven solutions for the company, which trades on the Nasdaq Capital Market. Information for this article was based on a company press release.
