Rubrik (NYSE: RBRK) announced the launch of Rubrik Agent Cloud for Google Cloud's Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, according to a company press release. The integration provides security and governance capabilities for organizations deploying AI agents on Google Cloud infrastructure.

The platform includes Rubrik's Semantic AI Governance Engine, which monitors AI agent behavior in real-time. Key features include an agent inventory system that identifies agents running on the platform, visibility into risk assessments and policy violations, and an "agent rewind" function that can reverse destructive actions performed by autonomous agents.

"As enterprises move into the autonomous era with Gemini Enterprise, security and governance are top of mind," said Satish Thomas, Vice President of Applied AI & Platform Ecosystem at Google Cloud. "Rubrik helps to provide a unified control layer for agent deployment and security that is critical for AI success."

Gartner projects that 40% of enterprise applications will incorporate task-specific AI agents by the end of 2026, up from less than 5% in 2025. The Rubrik Agent Cloud integration aims to address security concerns as organizations increase their deployment of autonomous AI systems.

The platform integrates with Google Workspace and hybrid cloud data management through a single administrative interface. Organizations can manage AI security policies from the same platform used for other Google Cloud services.

Rubrik will demonstrate the platform at Google Cloud Next 2026 in Las Vegas from April 22-24. The company describes itself as operating at the intersection of data protection, cyber resilience, and enterprise AI acceleration.
